A Brief Introduction

Music and vibration are two very closely correlated phenomena we experience in the real world every day. Music, (or more generally speaking, sound) is a wave which is produced when an object vibrates. However, the item itself is not making the noise, rather it is effecting a medium (air, water, etc.) which vibrates as a result of the object. Understanding this fundamental idea of vibration causing sound is crucial in understanding how  we hear and perceive music.
