Plasma: It's Pretty Cool

Plasma is not something that is really defined in everyday life. In grade school, it's briefly mentioned as a mysterious "fourth state of matter," maybe even going as far as to say it was something in between a solid and a liquid, but then in the next breath, teachers are talking about blood plasma.

That's not exactly what plasma is. So, if our blood is not some sort of super awesome, gel-like, mystery substance that's running through our bodies, then what exactly is plasma? You could Google it, but I'd recommend clicking that lovely little next button at the bottom of the page to find out.
