Conclusion

In conclusion, thermal inversion very clearly have an observable impact on air pollution. While thermal inversion are out of our hands, we can still take steps to prevent the pollution from getting trapped beneath a thermal inversion. Air pollution has very real health risks associated with it, and even more so in areas where there is thermal inversion. It's worse when people, like in the Fairbanks, Alaska area, aren't taking the necessary steps to avoid putting pollutants into the environment. It's important to realize what we do and do not have control over and try to decrease our negative impact on air pollution.
