Differences in
the luminous flux, or lumen, of any one
Cepheid Variable Stars is visible over a
period of hours to months depending on the
star's characteristics. The Cepheid
Variable Stars go through one full cycle
from brightest to dimmest, or one period
in 1-100 days and have a luminosity
500-300,000 times greater than that of our
sun.
