We have talked about stars having enough mass to collapse on themselves and form what we call black holes. We mentioned the point of singularity within these black holes where the laws of physics may cease to exist. It is widely believed that our universe was once contained within a gravitational singularity. Rapid expansion occurred and next came inflation, creating our present day universe. Could quantum fluctuations result in the creation of what we consider to be "the big bang"? In the simplest way possible, I have tried to introduce the concept of multiverse. Some of the ideas associated with multiverse are more interesting than others and we will take a look at these next.
