Introduction
When the United States entered World War II, they
developed an idea of training soldiers to deploy
into the battlefield from above and fight behind
enemy lines. The method of deploying soldiers onto
the battlefields from aircraft is through
static-line parachuting. In this case, we will be
talking about the device that allowed airborne
soldiers to deploy and land anywhere on the
battlefield. We will be primarily talking about the
T-10 and T-11 Series parachutes. Even though the
T-10 Series parachute introduced until the 1950's,
it still held many of its predecessors
characteristics until the T-11 Series.
