Iron Man versus
.40 S&W Caliber Gun
The fastest way to calculate how
strong Iron Man’s suit is to
compare it to a speeding bullet.
On the right is a problem that
calculates Iron Man versus .40
S&W Caliber Gun (Cleophysics).
The objective is to find how
much force the gun exerts on
Iron Man and how much force Iron
Man can endure (Iron Man, in
this experiment, wearing a
Nickel Titanium suit).
From the
calculations, it is concluded
that the bullet only exerts
about .5% of what Iron Man can
endure. Although this doesn’t
account for ricocheting bullets,
having a bullet exert only about
.5% of Iron Man’s max force,
shows how strong his armour is.
