Introduction

Nature is beautiful. Nature can be dreadful, too.

A tornado leaves the dreadful signature of nature on earth.
It is one of the most violent storms in nature. Its devastating effects have been proven many times - but it remained an unsolved mystery to us for a long time.

In the last 30/40 years,
advances have been made towards the understanding of the  formation, structure and dynamics of tornadic storms.

This knowledge helped in making better predictions, developing better means for protections and taking steps in mitigation of hazards.

In this project I have tried to give a brief overview on what a tornado is, how do tornadoes form, the scale that is commonly used to express the destructive capability of toradoes.
