There are a multitude of discs in Frolf, each with a different job,
just as clubs are used in golf for different speeds and accuracy.
The three main categories of discs include the distance driver, the
mid-range and the putter.
The Distance Driver is used for long-range applications. It is
built for speed with the slimmer body created to minimize
drag. The driver is great for distance up to 500ft but it is
hard to control its accuracy because it curves hard as it cuts
through the air. The distance driver has the least air resistance of
the three discs.
The mid-range disc is used for distances up to 300 ft. The
rounder edge lets the midrange fly straighter and more accurate than
the driver. The mid range doesn’t travel as far because it creates
more air resistance with its rounded edges.
The putter is very accurate but very slow and doesn’t get much
distance. The putter follows the angle of attack much more
directly and doesn’t curve as much as the driver. It is used
for distances under 100 feet.
