Jackass is a franchise consisting of the original comedic reality TV show that ran for 3 seasons with 28 episodes, 3 movies, and multiple spinoffs. The show and movies featured the ten cast members pulling of daring stunts and pranks on themselves or the public which became a massive hit with a cult following. The cast, comprised of 10 guys who performed these crazy stunts and pranks, were Johnny Knoxville, Steve-O, Bam Margera, Chris Pontius, Ryan Dunn, Ehren McGhehey, Dave England, Preston Lacy, Jason "Wee-Man" Acuna. The films and TV show would also feature numerous guest stars. The franchise was created by Jeff Tremaine, Johnny Knoxville, and Spike Jonze. Tramine would go on to direct the films and TV show. The comedy varied from physical, slapstick, dark, and cringe humor. After the original TV show was canceled in 2002, it kicked off multiple spinoff shows featuring some of the cast members from the original TV show. Not to long from those spinoffs, it produced 3 movies to the big screen: Jackass the movie, Jackass Number 2, and Jackass 3D.
