The Flash:

By an extraordinary, somewhat magical event, the Flash was given the powers of extreme super speed.  Physics wise there are many aspects of his speed that are quite impossible and are no where near the truth, such as his ability to time travel by running faster than the speed of light.  This, however, is not why the Flash is being dubbed "The World's Worst Superhero" by some members of the scientific community.  That reason would be that him saving people at such high speeds may actually do more damage than good.  Graduate students at the University of Leicester, calculated the Flash running at a speed over 180 mph to save a bicyclist from being hit by a taxi moving at up to 30 mph.  Obviously, the Flash would do more harm than good in this situation.  By holding someone and running with them, the Flash would give that person not only extreme whiplash, but the force would also damage internal organs.

Although removing someone from a dangerous situation may cause that person extreme harm, the Flash could still ideally use his speed to help.  Newton's Laws of Motion actually support Flash in the case of stopping a bullet.  By matching the velocity of the bullet, the Flash makes the relative speed between him and the bullet zero.  This means he could easily grab the bullet and save innocent bystanders.  A much easier way of understanding this is by examining oneself on a plane.  One can easily pick up a glass of water and drink it even though the water is traveling at speeds over 500 mph because the relative speed between one and the glass of water is zero.
