In 1988, Stephen Hawking published the book, A Brief History of Time, which spent more than four years at the top of the London Sunday Times best-seller list. This book has sold millions of copies. It has also been translated into more than 40 languages. The book wasn’t easy to understand for some people. So, in 2001, Hawking released the book The Universe in a Nutshell, which helped readers to understand some of the big theories of cosmology. In 2005, Hawking released the book A Briefer History of Time.
