The force of lift on the frisbees is calculated with the equation to the left. the lift of the frisbee is very important to solving for many factors surrounding the frisbee, such as how far it will travel before landing.
  • A = pi * r^2
  •  ρρ = 1.225 Kg/m^3 (density of Air)
  • {CL = coefficient of lift
  • αα = angle of attack of the frisbee

similarly to draft the angle of attack is one of the largest factors in the variation of the lift.
