Newton's First Law Of motion

 

The first law of motion states that  " any object


in motion, will stay in motion and any object at rest, will remain at rest unless acted on by an unbalanced force"-NASA.gov


During a soccer game that unbalanced force is the player's foot, head, friction, gravity and the net . A soccer player uses the muscle of the body to create a force to move the leg and kick the ball from  rest  to  motion until another player or the net stops or changes the balls motion.                                                                                                                                                                                                               link                                         

 

Newton's Second Law Of motion



Newton’s second law states that “The change in velocity (acceleration) with which an object moves is directly proportional to the magnitude of the force applied to the object and inversely proportional to the mass of the object.” -    soccermaniak.com



Using the physics of soccer this mean that it will require more force to kick the ball faster. This law of motion is really important in soccer, so you can calculate the amount of force required to give a pass or kick the ball to the net without missing.





Newton's Third Law Of motion


Newtons third law states that "for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction."


In soccer,  when you kick the soccer ball you will feel the force of the kick back into your leg. You wont feel the force as much because your legs have more mass than the soccer ball.
