What is a Frisbee?

    A Frisbee is a disk shaped toy used for a variety of recreational and competitive activities. The Frisbee is usually made of plastic and is shaped in a way that when thrown, the disk glides horizontally in the direction thrown. When using a Frisbee for recreation a person usually throws the Frisbee to another person or animal (usually a dog) to catch and return to the thrower. Some people compete in Frisbee related sports. These sports include Ultimate Frisbee which is similar to soccer where the team is trying to get the Frisbee into the other teams goalpost, and Disk Golf which is similar to golf but the player is trying to land the Frisbee into a basket at the end of a course in the least amount of turns.
