Volleyball is a team sport that is made up of six members. Each player has a designated position, including a setter, outside hitter, middle hitter, and a defense specialist. To score points, one must put the ball on the ground on the opposite side of the court. Each play begins with a player serving the ball, and the play ends when the ball touches the ground. Typically, each side should have a pass/bump, set, and a spike/hit.  A pass is when the ball hits the forearms and bounces up to another player. A set is when a player uses the fingertips and hand to push the ball out to the hitter/spiker. The final hit is when a player jumps up and hits the ball to the other side after the ball is set. Each side can only have three contacts with the ball.
