Friction Cart Demonstration
This demonstration is about the force of
friction.

item is used in lab experiments for PHYS 103 and 211.

Plane or wooden track Location: Demo Rm

Setup Instructions:
- For motion "with" friction, twist the knob on top of the cart until the friction pad drags on the track
- For motion "without" friction, twist the knob on top of the cart until the friction pad is clear of the track
Apparatus Notes:
Make sure the wheels turn freely and do not wobble. You can lie the plane down to be a flat track.
