Ball Launcher Track Demonstration
This demonstration is about independence
of horizontal vs vertical motion.

Equipment:
- Launcher Cart with ball Location: Demo Rm Shelf U
- Track with aluminum tab Location: Demo Rm over Shelf Q

Setup Instructions:
- Bring the track and launcher cart to the classroom. Use of a cart is recommended to avoid damaging people or property.
- Practice moving the cart along the track at the location of the aluminum tab. Bend the tab until it passes through the photogate gap as the cart glides past.
- Turn on the launcher by the tiny switch on the front
- Load the launcher by pressing the ball holder down
Apparatus Notes:
Check that
there are working batteries in the launcher
Safety Information: When moving the track, be careful not to
hit anyone with the long ends of the track.
