Bridge Builder is a bridge building game created by one man Alex Austin. It was originally released in 2000 although Alex has since updated it with a new title and several fixes called Bridge Building Game in 2006. This game is more of a proof in concept of a series of titles to come developed by Chronic Logic (developers of another notable physics based game Gish), but the community still has holds competitions for Bridge Builder.

Bridge Builder was one of the first physics based games I ever played and it opened my eyes to a whole sub genre of niche games whose focus is creating fun game play mechanics around physical simulation.
