Raising carbon dioxide levels in the atmosphere have caused many people to voice a concern over our dependance on the use of fossil fuels for energy production. Of the alternatives offered (Wind, Solar, Geothermal, Biomass, Hydro, Tidal, etc.), wind power seems to be making headway and gathering steam in its exploitation especially in the countries of Denmark, Germany, Spain, India, and the United States. Denmark, the leading country in the world for the use of wind power, is already producing enough electricity through wind power to cover 20% of its countries consumption. This is primarily due to large wind farms located on its coast.

Wind power offers a safe, clean, renewable form of gathering energy through the use of wind turbines. The exploitation of wind power has been around for thousands of years and through advances in technology is paving the way in many countries to a clean, renewable energy future.

Chill airs and wintry winds! my ear Has grown familiar with your song; I hear it in the opening year, I listen, and it cheers me long.
