The sling is a rotation body, it gains its force from the mass of the projectile and the
velocity created from the rotation. In order to be accurate with a sling only one rotation is required. The more rotations the greater the chance for error.
the basic underhand throw starts with the sling loose as shown in figure 1. Then the arm is drawn forward (figure-2) and completes an arc (figure-3). Finally after the first rotation the cord is released and the projectile shoots off (figure-4).
