1) Newspapers and other daily publications are recycled and brought to a recycling facility.

2) There it is coarsely shredded and fed into a high speed fiberizer which breaks the cellulose fibers down tobetween 20 to 30 microns.

3) Next it is treated using a solution of borax and aluminum sulfates for fire resistance.

4) It is packaged and delivered to a hardware store.
