In 1905 while working at a Swiss Patent office, Einstein wrote four papers that are considered some of the most improtant scientific papers. The first paper was on what scientist call the photoelectri effect, which paved the way for quantum mechanincs. The second, titled "The Electrodynamics of Moving Bodies", contained the special theory of relativivty. The third on Brownian Motion explained the random movement of very small particles. The fourth explained the mass-energy equivalience which led to the discovery of nuclear weapons.
