Why is it Orange?

Titan is the only moon to have any real kind of atmosphere. It was formed by Nitrogen evaporating as the moon heated up. The air pressure of Titan is 1.5 ATM, 50% heavier than Earth. Without the atmosphere Titan would be frozen barren world. There are trace amount of Methane in the atmosphere (2%). The Sun should've changed all Methane into different chemicals. Having Methane still present means its getting created. The leading theory of why Methane is still present are volcanoes. It even rains Methane on Titan. |
