Hello, and welcome! My name is Rachael Tigner. I am currently a student at the University of Alaska Fairbanks in David Newman's Fall 2010 physics 211 course. Cardiology is something I am very interested in and I hope to one day become a pediatric cardiologist. This site is designed to educate on the basics of cardiology and how it relates to physics. In order to convey the information in a manner that is both easy to understand and pleasing to the eye, there are multiple pages. Click on the links below to navigate through the site, learn, and have some fun!

Describe the heart            How does it work?        What can cardiologists do?        What does this have to do with physics??        Where I got my information!
