Applications of a Fourier Series

Joseph Fourier first devised of his series method wile studying the
conduction of heat in a medal rod. This shows just one of the many
applications of Fourier series. They are used in the analysis of current
flow in electrical engineering. They are used analysis of sound waves.
They are used in mathematics to solve differential equations. Fourier’s
ideas can also be found in electronically synthesized music and talking
computer chips. These are just a few of examples of the many uses of
Fourier series in the world of science and technology. |
