In Hockey, you need to be able to skate on
the ice, which requires you to put a certain
amount of force so you are able to get your
skates into the ice
The goaltender also needs to be able to
move around in front of his net which friction
and gravity allow
There can also be a lot of contact in
between the players, so when there is contact,
there's the normal force from the 2 players
coming in contact and pushing on each other
