The Physics of the stick in Hockey Shooting in hockey can be very difficult as their is multiple shot techniques to understand The Slap shot: The slap shot is the shot that requires the most force in order to send the puck into the net. Wrist shot: requires you to move your wrist and put it in a different motion. Stick control is very helpful     Some of the forces on the puck are Gravity, Normal force, and Friction Friction allows the player to move on the ice and keeps them on the ice without losing control.
