    No, oil is not diamond juice.  However, both oil and diamonds are formed in similar conditions.  Thousands of feet under the earth, under miles of rock and soil, heat and pressure create the conditions necessary for diamonds and oil to form.  Pressure is defined as follows:

       The "P" stands for pressure, and it is measured in pascals.  The "F" stands for force in newtons, and the "A" stands for area in meters squared.  An oil well can easily see pressures of 55,000,000 pascals.  That's 544 times the pressure we feel standing around at the surface of the earth, and well over the 6,000,000 pascals the strongest punch on record measured!
