MHD
of plasma is active research area for plasma physics, geophysics and
astrophysics communities. Here we are basically try to apply our
earth magnetosphere physics to produce MHD power generation using
specific fluids. The type of fluid we use may depend on the type of
process we use.
MHD
power generation involves two important process of cycles. They are
open and closed MHD system. In this project I will be focusing mainly
on open cycle MHD system. In closed cycle system the working fluid if
discharged to atmosphere after getting the electric energy. While in
the closed cycle process the fluid are fed again in to cycle even
after extracting the electric energy. In both case the fluids are
heated sufficiently high temperature for good conduction. In this
presentation theoretical background, types of channels and basic
features of open cycle will be discussed in detail .
