A
geophysical fluid flow is a naturally-occurring,
large-scale flow in which the ambient rotation of
a planet or star (or in which density
stratification) assumes some importance on the
dynamics. [1]
Geodynamo
The internal structure of
the earth consists of the crust, mantle, outer
core, and inner core. The earth's magnetic field is
generated by a geodynamo
in the earth's molten outer core.
