Buoyancy

Icebergs: These interesting blocks of ice in the middle of the ocean have very interesting physics, despite them being a solid piece of ice, you would think that they would sink, but ice is very buoyant. Buoyant meaning that a force is excepted on an object that is wholly or partially submerged in water. According to Samuel Hokin, from the "Physics of Everyday Stuff" says that icebergs are 90% submerged in water. So what we see is only 10% of the entire thing.

Mathematically, the buoyant force can be represented by a force in the Y direction and as more visually 
Pressure is defined F/A but can be rearranged to find the source buoyant like written below. The physics that ice does is better thought about conceptually.
