One feature of the game is performing tricks in mid air. Once the player is in mid air they have they will have a limited amount to perform tricks before they hit the ground with vertical acceleation g. When the tricks are performed the character exerts torque resulting in angular momentum that can result in any combination of tricks. Tricks include the backflip, frontflip, 180, 360, and rodeo.
A trick that works differently is the boardslide. When the player jumps on a rail with the board it will slide on top of the rail. For this trick to work the board needs to be strong enough such that the mass of the player being exerted over a section of the board the width of the rail does not break the board. The player also has to evenly distribute their mass on each side of the rail to not fall off the rail.
