Fun Fact:

A "Blue moon" is when a month contains an additional full moon. This occurs about once every 2.5 years!

The moon has struck human curiosity since the dawn of man. Many ancient civilizations personified the moon to be a god or goddess. The closest celestial body to our earth has been our best friend for millions of years. We have sent humans to visit this land within the last 50 years and it has only unlocked more information about it.
How did this rock end up in the night sky? What does this do to us here on Earth? And how important really is Luna?
