John Wheeler worked in many
areas of physics and made many contributions in
fields such as particle physics, nuclear
fission, unified field theory, and gravitational
collapse. Wheeler is also credited with coining
the popular terms “black hole” and “wormhole”.
But he did much more than that he worked to
develop the scattering-matrix, and with Einstein
in the search for the Grand Unified Theory of
Physics. |
