Heated Liquids

When liquids are compared to solids, the liquids have considerably more energy than the solids and this also means the liquids have more thermal entropy. When the liquids become more heated and close to the transition of a liquid going to a gas the molecules will become more and more excited. The excited molecules start moving faster and collide into each more often, this creates a friction that in turn creates heat.

Processes

In thermodynamics there is three different processes that can be looked at. One process is an isobaric process which maintains constant pressure. Another process is an isothermal process which maintains constant temperature. Finally, the remaining process is an isochoric process which maintains a constant volume. In the setting I am using the volume will remain constant, making it an isochoric process. The temperature and pressure are free to change.
