Incompressible Fluid Motion

Aviation and Aerodynamics

While the Four Forces of Flight rely heavily on Newton's Laws, the production of lift and thrust rely on the motion of the air over the wing for speed and the building pressure under the wing for lift.

Boats and Hydrodynamics

Because boats float due to displacement, the motion of the boat relies on the curvature of the bottom surface to part the waters. If you compare the motion of a raft to a boat of equal size, they will both float, but due to Bernoulli's Principle one will have less pressure in its motion to travel at higher speeds.
