Swimming is a sport that in many cases is
overlooked besides in the Olympics when swimmers such as Michael
Phelps or Ryan Lochte bring massive crowds to watch them.
It is a very interesting thing to look at from the physics
perspective because it does not seem like there would be a ton
at play when it comes to the act of swimming, and that
is where most people would be wrong. The four strokes,
butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke, and freestyle, all generate
their power in different ways, but they also have many problems
that they each need to overcome.
