In 1891, the great inventor Nikola Tesla created the first Tesla coil, with dreams of using it to transmit electric power wirelessly over the entire Earth. While that dream was never realized, this experiment in high-frequency circuitry led to the invention of the radio, and to a cult following of hobbyists that crave the Tesla coil's colorful display of electrical phenomena.
This is a record of my second Tesla coil project, as well as an explanation of each part of Tesla's marvellous machine.
