One of the most essential aspects of bowling is the ball that is
being used.
The interior of the bowling ball is the basis its motion. Most
bowling balls
made from a mixture of urethane, plastic, and reactive resin
with a maximum
weight of 16 pounds. The outside of the ball is a hard shell
with a smooth
surface to reduce friction as the ball goes down the lane. While
the outside of
the ball is what makes contact with the lane and the pins, the
inside of the
bowling ball is the more important part.
Inside the ball is a weight block that off sets the weight
distribution to effect
the spin of the ball and its curve as it rolls.
