Most
people know lasers as
narrow red beams of light that are shined on the floor to taunt cats,
or as
methods of getting information onto and off of DVDs and CDs, but the
actual
workings of a laser are much more complex.
The journey for the laser began with Einstein, and has traveled and
evolved
through history to become one of the most common and useful tools in
today's
technological world.
