How quick is a Cheetah?
The cheetah is the well known to be the fastest land animal. It can reach speeds of 70 -75 miles per hour. These speeds are only sustained for short periods of time, about 1,600 ft, their bodies cannot with stand long distance running. A lesser known fact about the cheetah is it can go from zero to 60 in three seconds.
Built for speed
A cheetah's body can be anywhere from 115 to 135 cm (this is including it's 84 cm tail) and stand 67 to 94 cm tall at the shoulder. They weigh up to 65 kg.
