Dr. Einstein has acomplished many things throughout his career involving math and physics. He figured out that absolute time had to be replaced by a new absolute, the speed of light, which went against the grain from the theories of old physics that believed that space and time were absolute and the speed of light was relative. He also asserted the equivalence of mass of an atom to it's energy which led to the world famous E=mc^2 formula. Later on he would become known for challenging the wave theory of light particles suggesting that the particles could be regarded as a collection of particles. This idea opened the door to a whole new quantum physics and won him the Nobel Prize for physics in 1921.
