Coulomb's Law

Charles Coulomb came up with this law to describe the force that one electric charge will exert on another electric charge.

"The force that one particle exerts on another particle is directly proportional to the product of their charges and inversely proportional to the square of their separation."

where q1 is the net charge of particle 1, q2 is the net charge of particle 2, r is the separation of the particles and e0 is equal to 8.85x10^-12 Nm^3/C. C is called the Coulomb, which is the unit of electric charge.
