Microphones are often used in this day and age anymore, be it in the media such as news reporters or singers,
 for recording an interview,
or just when you're taking notes. We've seen plenty of microphones at work, but the question is, just how do they work? How does the sound that goes into the microphone turn into a signal for the computer or speaker to use? What happens to the sound in there? The goal of this web page is to explore this and determine what makes microphones so amazing.
