Soccer is the number one sport in the world and millions of people watch their favorite teams play on a weekly basis.  Most fans know that in the game of soccer, the difference between winning and losing can come down to one free kick.  Most times the shooter does not have a direct line to goal and so curving (bending) the ball is a good way to beat the goalkeeper.  This website is designed to give an overview of the beautiful game (soccer), the technique used to shoot the ball, and the physics behind that technique.
