Ice cold movements
Freezes are often times the finale move of a dance set. They often incorporate conservation of momentum and center of masses. The goal for a freeze is to have little to no movement going on, as if it was a freeze frame of a video. This means the dancer is in static equilibrium once the move is finished. To keep this static equilibrium, the dancer must stay under there center of gravity. By staying under the center of gravity, the hold becomes much easier to control and adds to the effect of the "Freeze".
