Habitable Zone

The Circumsteller Habitable Zone, also called the Goldilocks Zone, is the distance away from a star in a solar system where life such as that from earth may exist. This comes from the possibility of liquid water on a planet within the habitable zone, which is thought to be a major factor for life on earth.
Based on NASA Kepler spacecrafts observations and data analysis, there could be as many as 40 Billion habitable earthsizedd planets in our galaxy
The Habitable zone is predicted using various models, but all of them rely on the temperature of the sun in which the planets are circling.
The scattering of light and electromagnetic radiation from a sphere (sun):

Therefore the intensity of light is dependaent on the distance a planet is from it's sun. This result in the habitable zone
changing depending on the intensity of light and teperature of orbiting sun.

Distance from star is also proportional to time it takes to make a year
