This
is the collection of websites from which I gathered data to do the
calculations,
Take off speed, typical weight: http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/systems/aircraft/c-130j-specs.htm
Friction Co-efficient: http://physics.info/friction/
I
use the value for waxed wood and snow instead of the one for steel on
ice. I chose this value instead because the surface of the ski-way was
not quite that of ice, it was more like packed snow. It is also worth
noting that the skis on the plane are waxed for performance, which
should make the friction force fairly close to that of waxed wood.
