Welcome to the physics of Soccer

Soccer (also known as association football) is one of the most popular sports in the world. Soccer is not really a popular sport in the United States, but its popularity has been growing every year. People can perform many activities with just a soccer ball. Kicking, passing, catching, dribbling, throwing, and heading are the main exercises we can see in any soccer game. Even though the motions are the same, the end result is different, making soccer an exciting sport, not only to play, but also to watch. This is because many physics are behind these exercises. In the "Physics" page on the left bar, I will introduce some physics that applies to soccer.
